At an early age, Katherine loved music and singing. Her mother is a vocal teacher who teaches lessons from her own home, giving Katherine the opportunity to pick up vocal exercises and repeat them while playing or doing her chores.
She grew up listening to the likes of Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, Julie Andrews, Disney princesses, and a host of others. It wasn’t until Katherine was nine when she filled in to be an actor an Irish Heritage Festival at the Blue Room Theatre that she found her love of portraying a character.
Along with playing in film, O'Day can be found playing Guitar, Violin, Piano, and Ukulele, Drums, cooking and spending time with her dog Bo Peep.
